The front door opens into a traditional long hallway, with a wonderful stone staircase leading to the first floor. To the left is an elegantly furnished living room with an open fireplace. Next to this is the study/library - a restful room with comfy armchairs and French windows opening onto the large front terrace. Accessed from the study are two first floor bedrooms - one double and a twin (with French TV), which share a bathroom and separate w/c.
On the other side of the main hallway is a large, light dining room with an open fireplace. This leads to a fully-equipped kitchen with a French window onto the back terrace and lovely gardens. On the ground floor there is also a utility room, and separate w/c.
Upstairs are three large bedrooms. The master bedroom (with French satellite TV) has an en-suite bathroom with separate shower. A triple bedroom, (one double, one single bed) and a double room share a family bathroom and separate w/c. All these bedrooms are homely and very comfortably furnished.
To the rear of the property in the beautifully maintained gardens, is the swimming pool (6m x 12m) and sun terrace. To the right is a cottage occupied by the owners, who maintain a discreet presence but are on hand provide a cooking service (at an additional cost), should you wish. Tucked away among magnificent oak trees is a hard tennis court for the more energetic among you.
La Queyrouse is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy a family holiday. With restaurants and historic market towns close by, you are in the heart of peaceful Gascony but only a few minutes' drive from all main amenities.

Domaine de la Queyrouse is close to two very attractive 'bastide' villages, each with restaurant, boulangerie, shop and post office. The two market towns of Mauvezin and Fleurance are about 15 minutes from the property and each has all the necessary amenities, supermarkets, banks, shops, restaurants and weekly markets. The historic cathedral city of Auch, the capital of Le Gers, is about 40 minutes' drive and has markets on Thursday and Saturday each week.
The owners/managers of Queyrouse live in completely separate accommodation on the property. They will provide you with as much or as little help as you require. Madame Noblet is an excellent cook and will be delighted to cook for you.
