​Can I find out about my rental property before my holiday?


Yes!  About two weeks before your holiday, we will send you a ‘soft’ copy of the House Book for your property.  This is full of useful information about the property and its local area, from how to deal with rubbish and the days of the wonderful local markets.

 

Can I contact the housekeeper for my property?

​

Yes!  As well as sending you the House Book, we will put you in direct contact with your housekeeper.  You can discuss, for example, how to arrange the bedrooms, whether you would like a pre-arrival shop done for you so that the kitchen is stocked with what you want for your first night. 

 

Can I make plans before I arrive to use the Simply Gascony Working Partners?

Yes!  And if you would like to enjoy one or more of the services provided by our Working Partners, we will explain how this arrangement works and put you in direct contact with the WPs you want to use.

 

How will I find the property?

 

About two weeks before your holiday, Simply Gascony will send you by email directions to the property according to how you plan to travel.

 

What time can I arrive at the property, and by what time do I need to leave?

 

Check in is between 4pm and 7pm. Check out is by 10am on the last day, unless agreed otherwise with Simply Gascony.

 

How do I get from the airport to the house?

 

You can rent a car from the airport if you wish. Simply Gascony can also organise a taxi or minibus to pick you up.

Are pets allowed in the house?

 

Dogs are welcomed in many of our properties, but only by prior arrangement.  There will be no extra charge, but if there is any extra damage or cleaning this will be charged for through your security deposit.

Can we have a celebration/party at the property?

 

Simply Gascony must be advised in advance if you want to have more people at the property than the number/individuals officially booked in.  Simply Gascony reserves the right to limit any increase in numbers depending on the property and the views of the owenrs.

Security Deposit: how is it paid? When is it returned?

 

The 'Security Deposit' to cover breakages or extraordinary cleaning must be paid at the time of the final payment for the ‘Rent Balance’, about 8 weeks before the start of the rental period.  After the property has been checked by the housekeeper, the balance of your deposit, less any necessary deductions, will be returned within four weeks.


What activities are there in the area?

 

Gascony has a lot to offer - we suggest that you look at the Activities page on this website. Our Working Partners offer a range of activities and services. We suggest that you also look at the Our Services page in this website. If you have something special in mind not otherwise mentioned on out website, please contact and we will try to help.


Where do I write a complaint?

 

In the first instance you should speak immediately to the housekeeper for your property - unless he/she knows something is wrong they cannot put it right! If this does not resolve your problem, or if it is something you feel we should know about, please contact us by email as soon as possible. It is much more difficult for us to investigate a complaint or problem after you have left at the end of your holiday.
